Yes, you must be a Michigan resident since July 1 of the previous calendar year, and you must remain a Michigan resident to maintain your eligibility for the program. If you are a dependent on the FAFSA, this applies to your parent(s) as well.
Yes, it is a requirement that you graduate from a Michigan High School or homeschool – earn a diploma, certificate of completion, or an equivalency certificate.
Yes, you need to be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or approved refugee.
Yes, you will need to enroll as a full-time student (12+ credit hours) within 15 months of high school graduation.
