You will be assigned an SCmail email account. Be sure to check it frequently for important communications and to submit any requested documents. - Submit your applicable year(s) Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Be sure Schoolcraft is listed as your first school. Our school code is 002315 – you can login to make a correction to your FAFSA if we are not listed first.
- Request to have your final high school transcripts sent to Schoolcraft College through parchment.com or if you have completed your GED, request to have your official transcript sent to Schoolcraft College through GED.com.
- U.S. Citizenship- you need to be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or approved refugee.
- Full Time Student- you will need to enroll as a full-time student (12+ credit hours) within 15 months of high school graduation.
- Michigan High School Graduate- graduated from a Michigan High School or homeschool – earn a diploma, certificate of completion, or an equivalency certificate.
Requirements:
- Be at least 25 years old
- Lived in Michigan for a year or more
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or certificate of completion
- Have not completed a college degree (associate or bachelor’s)
- Complete the FAFSA
Maintaining Eligibility:
- Maintain Michigan residency
- Submit a FAFSA every year. List Schoolcraft’s school code as the first college choice:  002315
- Students must have only one eligible program of study on record
- Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA while in the program
- Starting Fall 2023, to meet continuous enrollment (CE), you must earn at least 12 credit hours with a passing grade in the academic year
